Hope Kids Information & Registration Form (Effective March 2024)

What is Hope Kids?

Hope Kids is a Kids Club run by Stanhope Anglican Church for primary-aged children in years 3 to 6 who are part of the Stanhope and surrounding communities. Hope Kids is all about children having fun together, eating food together, and finding out more about Jesus together.

Hope Kids runs weekly on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 5pm, with a light supper offered from 5 to 5:30pm. Parents/carers must drop their children off and sign them in. Drop-off and sign in is from 3:45pm. Pick-up is from 5pm and parents/carers are welcome to stick around for the half-hour supper time.

What happens at Hope Kids?

A typical Thursday afternoon at Hope Kids will run as follows:

3:45 sign in and games

4:10 welcome and big game/activity

4:40 Bible time

4:50 discussion time (in groups)

5:00 supper time and pick-up starts

5:30 end of pick-up

Cost

Hope Kids costs $35 per term (10 weeks) per child, or $5 a week.

Payment can be made either by cash or credit card upon arrival.

By completing this form, I hereby give permission for my child to attend all scheduled Hope Kids activities, unless I explicitly advise the leaders otherwise.
I give permission for the personal details given herein to appropriate Hope Kids leaders and/or relevant supervisory/medical/emergency services personnel as deemed necessary.
I acknowledge that in the course of Hope Kids activities, appropriate photos/videos may be taken of my child by authorised personnel and may be displayed for internal and/or online use, unless I explicitly advise otherwise.
I understand the details given herein will be used by Hope Kids leaders to contact myself, and that the details will not be given to any third party except as provided for above purposes.
I acknowledge that being part of a community involves mutual care and consideration, and therefore agree that unacceptable behaviour may result in my chid being sent home and/or being temporarily or permanently prohibited from attending Hope Kids.
I understand that every effort will be made to provide a safe environment for my child to participate in. However, in signing this form, I authorise the leaders of Hope Kids, in the event of an emegency, to obtain at my expense, any medical, ambulance, rescue or other service considered necessary.
I will provide the leaders of Hope Kids with any information relevant to the wellbeing of my child prior to him or her attending. This might include supporting documentation (such as an AVO, Family Court Order) if there is anyone who is legally restricted from seeing my child.
I understand Hope Kids will include Christian based teaching and content.
